I’ve been to The Glass Strawberry several times now, and it has become one of those places I know I can rely on for really good food and a lovely experience.
On one visit I had the eggs royale with extra bacon, which was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. More recently, I tried some of the Christmas menu and went for the bacon, brie and cranberry ciabatta with a toffee nutcracker latte. Both were absolutely delicious, and the latte felt properly indulgent without being over the top.
I’ve also had one of their pumpkin spiced lattes to take away alongside one of the signature Glass Strawberries. The strawberry was genuinely one of the nicest sweet treats I’ve had in a long time and definitely something a bit different.
